This is especially true of the "Arena Floor/Special Needs" class.
LOL! Spit out my coffee on that one!
jehovahs witnesses in usa - prefer a bigger government providing more services and involved in regulating morality .. interesting that jehovahs witnesses who don't vote, even got on this graph.. " what are the political positions of religions and churches in america?.
this new graph maps the ideologies of 44 different religious groups using data comes from pews religious landscape survey.. this survey included 32,000 respondents.
it asked very specific questions on religion that allow us to find out the precise denomination, church, or religion of each person.. .

Great video HARDTOBEME! Thanks for the link.
i have an unspoken rule that if someone ever invites me to a church - that i haven't been to before - i will go.
even though i'm an atheist i'm still interested in the experiance.
just like i'm not into basketball but i would like to go to a game sometime to feel the energy of the crowd.. growing up as a jw i've never set foot in another church.
I do the same for movies, if it's just another Formula made movie for the masses
I can relate to this feeling STRANGELOVE.
- it's amazing to track the confusion and stupidity contained in wt articles.
- in only one watchtower you can find multiple contradictory statements, and representations of truth that are simply lies made up on the fly.
- as an example the nov,15 2014 wt has the following quotes : -.
Ok, researching this a little further with jwfacts.com and the original "Birth of a Nation" article, I think I have found a discrepancy (albeit one that is created by Watchtower writers). jwfacts notes:
The 1260 days of Revelation 11:3 are not to be confused with the 1260 days of Revelation12:6. This second period is described as "extending in the Northern Hemisphere from the spring of 1919 to the autumn of 1922. This was a period of refreshing recuperation and reorganization for the restored John class." Revelation - It's Great Climax is at Hand! p.184
So there are actually two 1260 day periods (according to WT): the one in Rev 11 mentioned in the Nov 2014 article; and one in Rev 12 mentioned in the Birth of a Nation article in 1925.
If I've missed something, let me know.
Confusing as hell.

Interesting. . . .
for a long time i have accepted that when a theist inserts god into some as yet not understood scientific matter, it constitutes a god of the gaps argument.
as a theist myself, the problem with this for me, is that it implies an arbitrary limit on gods ingenuity.
for example, the idea that god created automatic processes to do certain things in nature, and yet with other things the need for a direct hand to either tweak or directly organise!
I am always puzzled by the way some people talk aboout "science" as if it was some kind of James Bond Villain.
I think this is one of my all-time favorite JWN quotes! Thanks COFTY.
I honestly think the reason science is regarded as "some kind of James Bond Villan" has much to do with the ignorance of the media who are reporting on science.
I'm shocked you got anything back from them!
Hell, at the very least you took 75 cents out of Tony the Turd's pocket!
i love to read the watchtower's article "the church fathersadvocates of bible truth?
" (w01 4/15 pp.
there we may read the most contadictory statements of the watchtower society, which shows how deceptive and ignorant is the jehovah's witnesses religion.. .
This is great!
i've been working on a side project for a while.
the goal of the project is to create a comprehensive database of all publications throughout history.
with this database i will be able to instantly find trends in text, sentiment of writing, methods used, and scriptures emphasized.. essentially i will be able to put a word like "apostate" into my tool, and instantly receive a report showing every time the word (or similar words) has been used in all publications since 1870.. i will also be able to create reports showing word density used in publications over time.. so i'll be able to see that the word "governing body" has increased in usage 25% year over year since 1975.. or i will be able to analyze the november 2014 wt and run an algorithm that helps to determine, what the tone and motive of the writing is.. the thing that i am most excited about is the ability to instantly find every occurence of a scripture in every publication.. this will be a great tool to find flip flops in doctrine as well as inaccuracies in biblical interpretation.. i will for sure publish all interesting findings here.. .
You can do A LOT with a corpus.
You could analyze negative semantic prosody. . . . . see how it's used with regards to "loaded language". . .
Even analyze bullying tactics.
Great stuff!

I see gallons of water. . . . What looks like sacks of grain/rice. . . And what looks like bottles of window cleaner - which makes perfect sense!
